(The Star) PUTRAJAYA: Tan Sri Rais Yatim (pic) is the latest member of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia.
The announcement came as no surprise as Rais had been critical of Barisan Nasional, particularly in the lead up to the 14th General Election.
As a result of his criticisms, the 76-year-old was sacked from Umno, together with other vocal critics Tun Daim Zainuddin and Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz.
