Dear Malaysians,
Pakatan Harapan's unprecedented win during the 14th general election was the result of years of slander and character assassination pursuits by groups of saboteurs. These saboteurs comprised those within and outside the previous administration and included cabals of world leaders and journalists. The cabals had but one mission – to prevent Dato' Seri Najib Tun Razak from turning Malaysia into China's energy gateway to the middle east.
The element of sabotage that ensued cost Malaysia the greatest Muslim leader the country has ever seen. Apart from being a Prime Minister for all Malaysians, Najib placed great emphasis on the wellbeing of the ummah and worked hard to unite Muslims. He became the first UMNO leader to openly support an amendment to the Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act 1965 that aimed to further empower the nation's Islamic bench.
This seemed to bother Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
Then a retiree, Mahathir saw the charisma and fervour with which Najib was uniting the Muslims and decided that the latter needed to go. People like Mahathir conform to a breed of people the Prophet Muhammad warned us of when revealing the Surah Al-Baqarah. The Prophet held, that towards the end of days, there would be frequent occurrences of distortion and defamation brought about by the weakening of mankind's covenant with Allah.
Mahathir helped exacerbate that weakening.
Thanks to him, a sizeable chunk of Malaysian Muslims seem less fearful of Allah or the punishments they stand to face in the afterlife for engaging in fitnah. Perhaps it's time that these people be reminded of the "Treaty of Hubaybiyah," an important event that took place during the formative years of Islam. If they were to recite Chapter 48 of the Holy Quran, they will come across the Surah Al Fath, the opening of which reads, "Indeed, we have given you, [O Muhammad], a clear Victory."
The manifest victory Allah is talking about in this Surah is the aforementioned "Treaty of Hubaybiyah," which traces its roots to the day the Prophet Muhammad saw in his dream that he had gone to Makkah with his companions to perform the Umrah. Verse 27 confirms that the dream was not just any dream, but an inspiration that the Holy Prophet had to obey and follow as it was descended upon Him by the grace of Allah. It was during this treaty that several verses were revealed, among them being the Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 191.
The verse reads:
"And kill them wherever you overtake them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah is worse than killing. And do not fight them at al-Masjid al- Haram until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers."
Though relevant to the life and times of the Prophet Muhammad, the verse nonetheless exemplifies the degree of contempt with which Allah viewed the act of fitnah. Another verse from the same Surah (Verse 193) reads:
"Fight them until there is no [more] fitnah and [until] worship is [acknowledged to be] for Allah . But if they cease, then there is to be no aggression except against the oppressors."
These verses tell you that the act of fitnah is so heinous, that if one were to kill another, his (or her) act of killing would be of a lesser sin in the eyes of Allah than would be the act of triggering rebellion against a leader though slander and libel. Mahathir didn't just slander Najib, but a true Muslim Caliph who spent years upholding the sanctity of Islam and leading the ummah towards the path of clear water. I pray and hope that Allah will forgive the Prime Minister and guide him towards redemption before he breathes his last in this material world we live in.
Until that happens, I have a job to do.
The war that Mahathir has declared against Najib is no longer exclusive to him but a battle between the seekers of truth and the depraved enemy of Islam. I am guided by conviction, that the acts of slander and libel Mahathir committed against Najib are so heinous that Muslims in Malaysia can no longer stay silent. I, Raggie Jessy, swear upon Allah that I will fight the Prime Minister and his cohorts with all my might to ensure that the religion of Islam towers forever at the vanguard of Malaysian politics against those depraved seeking to destroy the ummah.
Wallahu A'lam
Yours truthfully,
Raggie Jessy
